Hello everyone!

Let's start with some introductions shall we?

My name is Eefje, I'm 25 and I live in Utrecht, the Netherlands. I work as an editorial graphic designer and photo editor at the newspaper Metro. (It's an international paper, some of you may know it. I am at the Dutch version.) I love painting and drawing and really hope that this exchange will lead to some interesting colaborations.

For those of you who've never done this before, some guidelines (copy-pasted for convience):

What is the Moleskine Exchange?

Each artist will set off with a small Japanese (accordian) folded Moleskine. Creating a drawing, collage, or painting, then send on to the next artist. Each artist will draw on a spread (around 3 pages) then send it on to the next artist. When the artists book is filled, it will be returned to the owner with images created by artist around the world. Each artist has a month to make an entry. The outcome will be a pleasant and surprising adventure, as artists are encouraged to interact and merge their art with others.

The concept:
1. The artists start with the Japanese fold Moleskine - Name, address, email address written in book.

2. Each artist gets 1 month to make a sketchbook entry, and mail it to the next person. The order is listed to the right.

3. Each artist will do 2-4 pages each round.

4. Artists are encouraged to interact with other images in the book. Please be respectful.

5. When the book is full, when one side of the unfolded book is filled, the book will be sent back to its original owner. That artist may continue by buying a new book and sending it to the next person.

6. If a person decides not to continue, she will simply keep her book when it comes back to her. She should email all of the participants to say she is not going to continue. We will decide, then, if we want to find a new person.

7. Please communicate regularly via email. Let each person know that you have received/sent the book. The goal is to have a dialogue. Any comments and questions are welcome.

You can also chose a theme for your book if you want.
When we're all on the blog we can decide on a sending order.

I'm going to try to start up a new M0ly_x_74 exchange, since the old one died. So I'm looking for four new member to replace the ones that have bowed out or are m.i.a. (I'll post this in the flickrgroup to see who wants to join.)
I really hope this is going to work this time!

Hello, I have been assigned to help moderate (a moly mentor if you will) your fantastic moly group along it's journey... if anyone has questions, needs help in any way (doing laundry excluded) please let me know. Feel free to contact me on my flickr page:
Hopefully books are rotating once a month to keep the flow of the group going!!! Looking at your blog that may not be the case? Last post looks like this group died, I certainly hope not!

So do we need to find new members to join in with those that still want to work on the exchange...who has who book? Have any been returned?

Hi Ladies,

I haven't heard from anyone here in quite some time. I Flickr mailed you guys, but no one answered me. Are you still interested in continuing this project? It's okay if some of you (or all of you) want to call it quits, we'll just have to make sure all the books get send back to their owners. Just let me and each other know O.K.?

If some of us want to continue (I know I do), we could fill in the places of those leaving with new people, we'll keep this blog and all that.

Please reply to this post, even if you don't know what you want to do. It'll be nice to know you are still alive. :)
