First Entry!

I've finally done my first entry in the Villans Moleskine. I'm so sorry it took so long! I hope we can regain some momentum.

What's the status with your books? Helen, did you receive Courtney's book? And how are things with your book? I'm sorry to say I haven't seen Kimberly's book yet, I hope the post is just slow and it'll arrive at some point.

My Moly so far...

I finally got a few pages done in my moly before sending it off.. I used only black and white but I invite all of you to paint, draw, collage in whatever colors you like and whatever you want related to my theme.. I do love color, so don't let that limit your creativity.. Here's what I did in my book:

Kimberley's Moly - Almost Ready to Go!

Hi Everyone,

I hope you're having a lovely weekend! Its raining here in the UK, but I love weekends when I have a good excuse to curl up with a good book (currently I Remember You by Harriet Evans) or hide in my studio for the afternoon! My boyfriend and I had a wonderful morning with our niece when we visited the animals at the petting zoo too!

I've now finished my Moly with the circus theme, and its almost ready to head to the Netherlands to meet Eefje! I really hope you like it. It was done with Promarker pens (disappointed with the blend results - can see every pen stroke, nevermind) and acrylics. I had so much fun drawing and painting it!

Eefje, I'll wrap this up and post it onto you after the weekend!

Yay!! Got my moleskine!!!

Yay!! I was so excited when I got it .. then I was like.. gee this is small!!! Nevertheless I am still excited and nervous about working in other people's books ;-)  But as the group leader said it will be a great learning experience.  As you can see I haven't started my sign in page yet, but plan on working on it in the next couple days.. I just want to land on one theme idea.. I have a couple swirling around right now :-)

Hi Everyone! I hope you are all OK and looking forward to starting this exchange as much as I am!

I've started working on my Moly sign in page which has a Circus theme, chose it for all the bright colours and various subects there are when you visit a circus! Hope you all like it, I will try and post a picture once its done...

Eefje, love your villain theme that will be great fun to do!

First Moly Mail!

Yay, I received my moleskine notebook in the mail today - it's so cute! (although much smaller than I expected). I have a paper due tomorrow that I haven't started yet (woops) but after I finish that, working on my sign-in page will be my weekend project. I'm more or less decided on Underwater Creatures for my theme, but you never know what'll happen when I actually start drawing...maybe I was inspired by the rain we've been getting in New York recently, haha
